SUPER STORM VERMILION BREAK WALL 10/30

This shows the the Vermilion break wall yesterday morning around 9:00 am. Can't really see the waves going over the wall that well but it was really something to witness. The winds were sustained at 44 knots making it difficult to take the picture. When the waves hit the wall it was like an explosion shooting up 30 feet or more really awesome to see. The Vermilion River was almost over the dock wall and my swim platform was above the wall at my dock.  Many large logs floating down the river even saw a deer that apparently drowned crossing the river up stream. This was one super storm. I decided to keep the boat in until at least the 15th of November. Hope to get to fish in about a week. The walleyes were about six miles out and some good catches were made last Friday with several captains with limits by midday. See you on the water maybe!
