1/2 day  trip with good results great job from the Halvin team. No one lost a fish today on a very foggy morning. Managed 13 nice walleyes on Bandit cranks running just north of Niagara Reef. Best speed was 1.6 to 1.7  knots on a west to east direction. See you on the water!

APRIL 30 NIAGARA REEF

Great day on the water fished just north of Niagara Reef and pulled 6 man limit 24 walleyes. Pulled bandits again if it works don't change, IB Frozen,Blue Chrome and Natural Perch best cranks. Ran 1.7 knots on a south to north direction the best direction. Team Gaines great job. See you on the water.

APRIL 23 MOUSE ISLAND

Fished today with team Barber my good friend Ron an old archery buddy. Waited until noon to go out   due to the weather and still had solid four footers but his grandson handled the weaves better than Ron. Continue to run bandits and Natural Perch and IB Frozen pulled most of the walleyes.

Best speed was 1.1 knots down hill and 1.7 going east into the wind. Current was unreal today with a west to east direction pulling most of the fish. Finished with 93 lbs of fish for the day. Everyone had a great time.

Bandits out performed the Reef Runners with IB Frozen and Blue Chrome catching most of the fish while running 1.6 knots on a north to south direction Good day for a 1/2 day trip.

APRIL 15-17 WALLEYE BITE SLOW BUT IMPROVING

Fish three days running trips for Pooh Bear Charters. Walleye bite getting better but with the cold fronts and wind still not typical April success but some nice fish caught both at Niagara Reef and west of Kelly Island. Bandits producing more fish than reef runners 1.4 to 1.5 knots IB Frozen and Natural Perch best crank.
FIRST MATE IN TRAINING GREAT JOB  COLTON

APRIL 11-13 2016 FIRST THREE TRIPS OF THE YEAR SNOW SNOW AND MORE SNOW

April has been a tough month with the walleye bite varying from day to day based on the weather. First trip April 11 with team Nedved from Minnesota what a great bunch of guys. The first day was after a snow storm and I had to shovel snow from the boat so we could get out. We fished for three days using bandits on Niagara Reef and west of Kelly Island.
