NORTHWEST CORNER MIDDLE ISLAND 7/10

First trip after spending the week of the fourth at PIB. Managed 36 walleyes just northwest of Middle Island in Canada. Lots of drifters which made it hard to really get to the fish. Fished around the perimeter of the pack and once it thinned out started trolling further east until we caught our limit. A west to east troll was the best direction with a east speed of 1.7 knots and a west speed of 2.0 knots. 33 of the fish were caught on harnesses with willow leafs 60 to 65 feet back on 40 Tru-Trips. 3 fish were caught on high divers pulling Pooh Bear Purple Michigan Stinger spoons 52 back. All in all it was a great day. See you on the water!
