GOOD COLORADO BLADES

Recently I posted some pictures of willow leaf blades that were successful over the years and I had several inquires where to purchase the blades so I thought I would also post some good Colorado blades noted on OGF. I fish these blades slower than the willow leaf blades usually from 1.0 to 1.4 mph. Both blade styles can be purchased at Fisherman's Wharf (Port Clinton), HiWay Bait (Marblehead) and for areas further east Erie Outfitters (Sheffield),

CAPTAIN'S REPORT 1/28

Talked to Steve Carlson over the weekend and here are two dates to remember in 2013. The first date which is coming soon is March 9 and involves the South Shore Annual Fishing Seminar and Open House. This is a seminar you must attend if you are looking to learn more on walleye fishing techniques.  Will update details on this seminar when available.  The second date is the Fish Huron Walleye Challenge and it will be held on October 5. There is a possibility that this tournament will be increased to 100 boats but that is yet to be determine. Additional information on this tournament is posted on the Ohio Game Fishing Website. Only 31 days until the first of March.........see you on the water sometime in March.
